Trawling for the Future ( a guide to responsible fishing ) Part- II
This movie describes the way by which the problem of excessive young and juvenile fish and shellfish caught in trawl boats operated with small mesh sizes throughout India could be tackled. Based on a project executed by the CMFRI and CIFT and funded by the MPEDA, scientists show that the average loss per haul in monetary terms is Rs. 23 which is about 1.3% of the total revenue realized per haul.
