Amtrak NB at Former Dinky Line Junction in Orlando, FL

While looking at the rails and equipment removed from the remnants of the old Dinky Line on 1/13/08, I missed the radio call of the Amtrak Silver Star heading toward me. I had to take this shot on zoom.

NOTE ADDED 2/2/08:
The #2 engine on this train was #133 and was involved in a fatal wreck in Longwood, FL on 1/25/08. A garbage truck stopped on the tracks and was hit by lead #133 at the Ronald Reagan Boulevard crossing. Two garbage truck occupants were ejected and one later died.

Not sure, but this video might have been the last trip thru FL before returning SB when the wreck occurred.

nice,video! Wow,they must have just removed it! look on flrails(dot net),and they have photos,have you saw the old pinsly branch removed recently that went to Winter Garden,the old way?
