An automatic cut-up of http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6qlUFKFHNIU Gary Numan's performance of "Cars" with NIN in London 7.15.09. No human choices were made in the creation of this video. The video and the audio are always cut in sync with reference to the original: what you see and hear at any given moment are what Rob Sheridan captured in real time with his single camera setup.

The Echo Nest API analyzed the music automatically. My python program used those beats and other features to scramble the beats into a re-edit that sounds a little familiar but not quite right. The video is simply along for the ride: the image is synched to the sound. Robot remixing.
