I got a laugh out of this. Speaking as an American, how can you not celebrate a lovely FEDERAL holiday like Columbus Day? Sure, he and his crew may have reduced the population of the indigenous peoples of America by bringing diseases like smallpox. Nonetheless, it IS a another day off and what silly fool is gonna complain about THAT?
