Sony's adverts regarding reading in sunlight do not however bother to differentiate - claim 505 same as 700 - which it just isn't.
seems to be thicker as the 505... i dont need build in light, an ordinary book even doesnt have it, and i think it will have less battery time... touchscreens are a nice idea, but i dont like to read through my own fingerprints... i prefer the 505...
Contrast is much better on the prs-505 than on the prs-700.

it does not have a built in backlight, it has duel side screen lighting.
