Storyline:

Edison and Charlene met when they were young, they were both orphans living in an orphanage located in Hong Kong. In the orphanage, Edison usually takes care of Charlene, and he promised her to always be with her. Soon, Edison's real family has located him and he was forced to leave. Charlene was upset with Edison leaving and breaking his promise, but she was most sad by the fact that Edison maybe disappearing from her life forever. Before Edison left, he promised Charlene that he will come back for her, and he will most definitely not forget her.

With Edison leaving the orphanage and relocating to another city, Charlene and him soon lost contact with each other. Two years after Edison left, Charlene was adopted into a family and moved to Taiwan. Remembering what he promised Charlene, Edison quickly returned to the orphanage after two years when his family moved closer to the orphanage but he was too late as Charlene was no longer there. For 20 years, Edison visits the orphanage every single time he gets a chance in hoping to run into Charlene one day. He continued to search for her as he believes she will one day return from Taiwan, but with little luck he wasn't able to find her.

One day, Edison was inside a bar having a drink when a girl walked passed the window and it caught Edison's attention. This girl looks similar to someone he has seen before, and he quickly got up to get a better look at the girl. Edison soon realized that it was Charlene, and Charlene also recognized him. However, she couldn't help but hate him for lying to her, he has promised to come back for her but he failed to do. Therefore, she run away from him.

Edison was not willing to lose Charlene for the 2nd time, and he started to actively search for Charlene throughout the city. Charlene visited the orphanage soon after she run into Edison, it was her first time back at the orphanage. She soon learn from the staff that Edison has been trying to look for her throughout the 20 years that they have been separated. Charlene feels a huge shock of guilt because for the last 20 years, she has been thinking wrongly of Edison. She needed to look for him, and with fate being kind to them, Edison and Charlene successfully found each other. Soon afterwards, Edison and Charlene decided to get married.

i love edison chen also.

he was the first chinese celebrity i fell in love with when i saw my first chinese movie. i forgave edison chen when i heard about the scandal.. cause we all make mistakes.

i wish charlene and edison were in movies more than they were.. i like him with charlene more than gillian for some reason. i love the video u made.. so good!!! and the story line? love it too!
