  • If I profited off of the amount of cents this guy made, I'd be in debt.

  • @drolsitsirhc “Only good comes out of following Christ.” Tell that to the KKK, the Westboro Baptist Church, the people behind the Spanish Inquisition, the priests who molest boys, the Salem Witch trial people, the Crusaders, the people that believed Hitler was doing the will of god, the people who slow scientific process down to keep their delusions alive, all the Christians currently in prison, etc.

“He can't be a good moral teacher, if He's a liar or delusional.” Yes he can. Any serial killer can talk about morals and still do bad things, it called being a hypocrite. “He fulfilled the prophecies” Prophecies that he had ready access to and thus were essentially self-fulfilling.

  • “What things in the Bible are not validated by history?” Creation of the world, Noah’s Ark, Moses freeing slaves, King Herod’s census, etc. “Either He was lying, delusional, or truly God.” I’m going to go with delusional. “He wasn't crazy” Why not? There are different types of craziness. He could have just been a sociopath or so far into the delusion that he actually did believe he was god (Muslims martyr themselves all the time, so Jesus wouldn’t exactly be a special case).

“Did they and if so, what was the purpose of adding the religious stuff?” I said “could” because as a skeptic, I’m obligated to assume that there is a small chance that I’m wrong. However, I mostly believe that religious stuff was added as a means of control.

“Do you dispute Shakespeare's writings or Herodutus' writings, even though they were translated centuries, even millenia after they died?” I would definitely say that the stories have slipped. Information about Herodutus is still shaky, but Shakespeare’s was better since the society he lived actually did have good documentation.

“His death is historically documented, the same as George Washington's, Dr. King's, Queen Nefertiti, Abraham Lincoln's.” You forgot Sauron, Yoda, Hercules, etc. His death is about as historically documented as Darth Vader’s, it could still be fictional even if it was written down by someone.

  • “Luck is not the answer to the question. Neither is happenstance, absurdity, or accident” It’s nice to know I wasted multiple paragraphs of explanation to tell you why that statement is false only to have you brush it off. “He had to die b/c death is always the ultimate sacrifice. But it’s not a sacrifice, because he never truly died. Which is why I say it had no point. The entire Jesus story has no point. All God would have to do is forgive from the start. It shouldn’t be that hard for him.

  • @drolsitsirhc “This means that I've got to step into your logic, and you've got to step into my logic.” But that’s exactly the point. My logic derives from the evidence given, yours doesn’t. If I followed your logic, then I would believe in a god. But that’s not the case because I don’t believe based on faith. “There's no other option.” Why?

  • @drolsitsirhc “Part of having a relationship with Jesus is having joy.” Or else you’ll burn for eternity. Yes, I truly feel joy in being scared into submission. “If someone gave their entire life for you, why would you feel irritated to love them?” I wouldn’t feel irritated because they actually gave up something. Jesus didn’t. I’ve already explained this.
