I was thinking about this kind of idea as well but with your current system in place I think making something like Master of Orion 2 would be absolutely phenomenal. All you need are more models and a lot of Ui and graphics but it's possible with your current system.

well I am more focused on macro game play, than on models.

Probably I wont use custom models, but I plan to make custom background for the dialogs.

Just a suggestion, but i think it would be awesome if you gave all the planets actual orbit around the star that they are created near.

I was thinking lot about it and I dont think I will make it. it would be hard to implement and it could lag the game, also it might mess you up when you would try to find your planet... However I might still make it and than it would be optional with vote.

Try out Real Warring factions. takes a hell of alot more skill to play and its more addicting

true, but I am going for unique, complex and addictive gameplay and not for some nice looking stuff. But yes, I will try to make the game as clear for everyone as it possible, but first I want to add almost everything that I want to the game and than change the tooltips and stuffs. Probably I will make beginners guide, which you can choose at the start and will help you to learn the basic stuffs about the game.
