  • Not one of his better songs but... He was the first to sing "Baby It's Cold Outside" with Esther Williams in Neptune's Daughter. It (the song) also won an Academy Award that year. You can catch part of it in Part 2 of the Lifetime Award Tribute on Youtube.

He was also an incredible dancer, dancing with Cyd Charisse (also great). But You wouldn't know this from looking at this clip. Look him up and you'll be surprised at how versatile and underrated actor he really was.

  • I liked Tattoo, and I missed him after he went on strike. Mr. Belvedere and that chick (whoever she was) did OK as Mr. Roarke's sidekicks, but Herve Villechaize had an exotic appearance which really added to the mysterious atmosphere of the island. He should have realized, though, that Ricardo Montalban was the true star. His Latin charm and machismo were solely responsible for carrying the entire show. May both of those gentlemen rest in peace.

  • Dammit, can't hear Ricardo because of the goblin at his side.

  • @moshn2002 I did see him on that clip with Cyd Charisse. That dance is probably his most "sensual" in terms of the HEAT the two of them generate! LOL

  • @misheemom U R right I think Senor Mntalaban got the OSCAR for that song ( Baby its cold outside") and as far as RN's dancing i highly recommed to view his dancing with Cyd Charisse in "MARK of the RENEGADE" oone of the hottest dance EVER !!!

  • Very cute dance number. They must have had much fun doing it! Teehee.

  • "Sombrero" was his first movie ever I watched (on TV, at twelve!) and I've been his fan since then. I second you, there might be other Latin lovers along the cinema world, but equal to him... no.

  • Yes, I did. I am very fortunate that I actually have a copy of Sombrero from which that clip is taken. I am a big fan of his! Too bad they don't make them like him anymore!

  • Yes, mishemoon, he had a nice and agreeable voice. Did you already watch on YouTube the video in which he sings "Eufemia"?

  • Oh, and he died today. That is so sad.
