Stop the engines and feather before touchdown IMO, unless it's a short field. A go around with one engine In a loaded light twin is not advisable.
-
I like how the emergency vehicles are like, "GO GO GO! ...wait, lolwut?"
-
Surely the starboard prop must have struck the ground during the wheel collapse?
So now he's flying an aircraft that has a damaged starboard wing/engine/prop in a go around situation that requires as much power as possible. Think i'd let it roll to a full stop rather than flying an aircraft where half was scraping on tarmac a few seconds ago lol.

rush of blood

Damn, if he was floating too far down the runway then he needed to go around before he put it on the ground. I think this pilot misunderstood the meaning of "fly the plane all the way through the crash."
-
Holly Crap. To all you lower time multi guys. DONT EVER DO THIS! Once you are down stay down!
-
how did that right engine not fall apart? u could clearly see the prop must have hit the ground since the under side of the engine was on the ground for a bit, worst ADM ever. had to have crashed after that too. bad idea .
-
@X6insane6X I dont think the pilot even knows what ADM is. seeing as how he took off witha Fd up plane.
-
worst possible decision, in fairness tho im sure he panicked but defo needs a copurse in adm!
-
@samkoc2889 well the pilot took the decision for a reason so...all these comments seem a little fool to me.
An aborted emergency landing? Once you're down with a gear malfunction, I'd say you're quite committed, no?
This guy needs a refresher course in ADM.

I think it was a really bad idea to t/o again,i mean taking off with one engine is foolish enough plus nw you can't even feather the bad one bz of the prop strike. The emergency vehicles were already there and the damage to the a/c was already done
