  • 0:30-0:51= Synaptic Plasticity?

  • @12Padawan

The song is obviously based on Chromatics (hence the title), so that's probably where you'd hear the similarity between it and the Various B. Science '12 Tones' melodies.

  • is Frank can get drunk and eat beer supposed to represent the circle of fifths FCGDAB?

  • In a sense, I just read in the booklet Ron's little 'explanation' of the song, and it says something about moving each progression forward a sharp key or something in the circle of fifths, until you reach C# which has all sharps. Loosely basing that information off the top of my head though, haha, it might say on his website a little more in detail the theory used in writing the song.

  • Reminds me of Becker/Vai/Bettencourt/Petrucci.

  • He is certainly an overlooked guitarist in my opinion. Deserves much more recognition than he gets.

  • I said it before and i say it again

The Prog factor of this music is soo high that Ron Jarzombeck need his own genre of music

Even the most progressive Dream Theater song is like easy listening music

    compared to this

And this comes from a Guy ( ME ) that is a Dream Theater Fan since 1998

  • FRANK ZAPPA would jerk off by hearing that

  • @Raenydyne Except for the fact that he is much better than all of them.

  • He has a little Bumblefoot in his playing................no doubt

  • he is nothing like Becker/Vai/Bettencourt/Pettrucci

this guy seriously has his own style that no one can copy

  • 4:44 to the end really kills me. It's so good. I love it when Jarz plays pretty sounding scales. The broken arpeggio and the rhythm at 5:06 blows me away.

  • That was unbelievable. I was really affected by this song. Wow.

  • this is great!
