The intro reminds me of the legend of zelda :D

i thought cecil and jeff's shares in colbyco which alexis has and she had controling interest ...

@westnar1 even is dominque use here dc stock to get a loan she could not have raised enough money to be a threat to alexis or colbyco...in s1 the oilot episode they made the mistake of making refference to blake's net worth at it was $200 million and dc was in independent oil co similar to ewing oil on dallas...colbyco was suppose to be a major oil company worth over a billion dolllars. i guess pt of the prob is this is fiction and we are basing our response on reality...i make that error often.

@sharlyntrish At this point, Krystle was on a tipping point with Blake, she didn't agree with his business practices and she had the appearance of being in an affair with Daniel Reece. She is trying to prove that she is being faithful to Blake and he doesn't want to believe her. She is trying to talk things out with him but he doesn't wanna hear her. Look at the next episode when she walks out on him and the tables are turned and he is begging her to talk.. I think she should have divorced him.

@hardren101 In a episode or two before this when diahann carroll didn't appear, adam told blake that dominque used her denver carrington stock as collateral to get a big loan...So she did raise quite a bit of money also you gotta remember that alexis had many enemies domestic and foreign who would have jumped at a chance to shank her corporately

Respond to this video... this is what hostile takeovers and corp raiding is based on and how the stock world works!!!...the CE0 would have to make a case to the stockholders why even though this might sound good in theory...it will in the long run destroy the company....but most stockholders would not care since they would dump their stock once the deal closed.....this is what alexis was attempting when she tried to take over DC and what blake was doing when he tried to take over colbyco.

Respond to this video... You also have to understand that any publicly traded company is open to take over since I get a bunch of investors to back me and then make an offer for the company based on the stock price and stockholders are only concerned with profit and money...the company has 5 million outstanding shares of class a stock with each share being work $6.00 a share and now i offer $6.75 a share and am willing to go as high as $7.00 a share....now we have a fight on r hands...

@westnar1 you have a point because anyone who holds a min of 10% of a co stock can automatically demand a seat on the board and anyone on the board can influence the policy of a co and can not be thrown off b/c of the large amt of stock that they control....it was never mentioned how much stock dominque was able to purchase but if she was attempting to take over the co she would need min 50.5% to tip the scale and that would take far more cap than she had so the entire storyline was stupid.
-
@westnar1 dominque could have very many connections but they never showed her attempting to raise any capital....alexis was queen of the hill b/c money is power and colbyco was over billion dollar giant= to an exxon....you would have to have an understanding of the stock market and big business (not that i am saying that you dont) but any viewer that was a stock broker or investment banker would c through this bull as alexis empire was far to large and complex to fuck with.

@hardrein101 My question would be why didn't Dominique use her colbyco shares to stop Alexis from taking Denver-Carrington in season 6...I am sure she kept them after the battle with her on this...
Claudia much looks better with her hair like that, not spiked up.

Diahann was in flawless form here. Dynasty was so lucky to have her.
