Brigham Young racked up almost 60 wifes...nearly doubling that of Joseph Smith... these guys were real "Gluttons for Punishment". imagine how the wives must felt. used?? ya think?? King Soloman racked up 300 wives and 700 conqubines... he holds the record.
Well, it's perfectly OK that you believe that, despite a complete lack of any objective evidence that it's actually the case. Just like it's completely OK what the Mormons believe in spite of all that logic and Occam's Razor that would dictate otherwise. After all, they believe the Bible to be the word of God too, just with parts left out.
Yet another way in which you're much like the Mormons in what you choose to believe, regardless of reality.
@NarkAnon - thats a good point. i actually just "believed" that the Bible was true and trusted that God could keep in intact and free from "Human Pollutions". My discovery is that the Bible is a message system: it’s not simply 66 books penned by 40 authors over thousands of years, the Bible is an integrated whole which bears evidence of supernatural engineering in every detail.... hehehee... LOVE IT !!!
How can you possibly know what prophecies Jesus (meaning the presumed real-life person the supernatural Jesus may or may not be based upon) actually fulfilled? Sure the New Testament says Jesus did all kinds of stuff that fulfilled Old Testament prophecies. Don't you think that the writers (and later editors) of the NT knew all about those OT prophecies before they started writing? Just because they said it happened doesn't mean it did.
@NarkAnon - you dismiss and underestimate the Power of the Almighty. There are a few scriptures that (dare i say PROVE) that the Bible is an integrated message system that comes fron outside our time domain. Yes, a man did hold the pen and "wrote" but these men were obviously inspired (unlike Joseph Smith who was a fraud and a counterfiet). are you an atheiest? how can you explain the Prophecies in the old testament that were fulfilled exactly in the person of Jesus?
dang - check out this website w w w (dot) challengemin (dot) org/moon (dot) html . i had no idea.

I would refer you to my original comment from 3 days ago. The Bible was written, compiled, and edited by men for the purposes of men.
Some of those purposes have been good. Some of those purposes have been evil. And some have just been self-serving.
