Allen's Words of wisdom and sincerity foster humble pride in the the Coast Guard family . Americans can be rightfully proud of the service and character demonstrated by the US Coast Guard and its leaders. It is time to support this fine service with full funding as well as the thanks they deserve.

Admiral, I couldn't agree more, but when those good comments come from the Administration, they need to show us the money! Money talks! We all know the rest! We need to capitalize on our successes in the budget cycle, particularly on the Hill if the Administration won't listen. Praise while we're cutting off our arms & legs is faint praise indeed.
