I hold and video these spiders myself, and they are really docile. The spider in this video still had another molt coming at the time this video was shot, being that the markings were still red/orange on the spiders body. These spiders will also make a sac like this when they're about to molt, because the molting process puts the spider in a vulnerble situation, so they will molt inside the sac to avoid predators.

EEEEWWWEWWEWEWEW!!!! I don't like spiders.....I don't like little spiders....I hate BIG spiders.... I would have thrown something hard at it. I wouldn't want little baby spiders being made....I get all creeped out watching these, yet I still can't look away. How big was it?
