Pedal harps are heavier though, which is a pain for transport. Sorry if it's hard to read; I didn't have enough space.

  • How did you get a lever harp for 400?

    400 what? I got mine for $1200 , 27 string, and a 33 string for $2500.

  • My 6 year old wanted to know what a harp sounds like. I came here and found this and am delighte that this is what he will now think of for the harp. Thanks. (And thank you Bach- Gott Sei Dank (?))

  • wow! this is the best, i love it ♥ :o* :-o*

  • Haha, they range from about 7,000 USD for a cheap, Asian made all the way to 50,000+ for those that are gilt and such. That's why I play a lever harp, it only cost 400... haha.

  • Each pedal correspond to a note (from A to G) and each pedal can have three position. So each note can be flat, natural or sharp. The A pedal works on all the A(s) of the harp, the B pedal works on all B(s) and so on.

  • candieneh24,

I belive that is how you get a sharp or flat to a certain not... there isn't a B flat string... just a B string... so you need to pedal make a B flat

someone please correct me if I am wrong I play bass and have no idea what I am doing

  • how do the pedal systems work on this and why are there so many?

  • haha I just finnished playing this on violin(:

I really like your sense of the phrases

(was that the correct spelling? haha im embarrased that I dont know how to spell that )
