Spyro DOTD 3D Animation Render

I started with a blank-grey character model. Texturing, character rigging, environment building, animation, lighting, and final rendering were all done by myself. It took a total of 2 days to put together and render using Maya software.

Dang, it looks very similar to the one Sierra made. I have Maya but have no clue what to do with it. The best I can do is make a ball...then I completely messed up the ball. Were you self taught or did you have some schooling for Maya?

@tsitra360 Thanks to both of you. I was self taught, so i am a beginner as well. I wish i could give you the url to the online tutorials i used, but i dont have them in my favorites anymore. I can recall that the name of the website was somthing along the lines of "Salbon tutorials" or somthing like that. Anyway, im glad you liked it, and if you would like to see more, drop by my youtube page every now and then. I should be producing more complex animations in the future! ;)

@Sputnick2006 How difficult is it to learn? I can learn pretty quickly of how programs work. However, 3d modeling/animating sounds like a whole different experience to me.

And I will drop by your Youtube page. If you can make a 3d model this good, you have a lot of potential for awesome works.
