  • The 2300 mustangs claim they make around 200 to 225 hp. I am not sure about the 2.2 dodge, but you see the results. This car has a stock chassis . The springs are fully adjustable. No sway bar front or rear.

  • Go to caraway nc, brian harb on you tube to see a naturally aspirated car run. It is fully modified for round track racing. The other cars are all 2300 mustangs. Its the yellow 35

  • Does anyone know(or someone you know) how much HP can I get from a 2.2 naturally aspirated? I intend to race a Daytona 2.2 N/A with programable ECU in SCCA sanctioned road race events, but need to know if it's worth it.

    Thanks!

  • Torque steer was horrendous in stock form.... this must be a monster to keep straight.

  • thats one angry Dodge!!!

  • Its a 2.2 89+ common block with a TIII 16 valve DOHC head.

Saw it run at Topeka in June of 06, its simply sick and done on a little money, the car is simple from a tech standpoint. It also runs the 3 speed A413.

  • 2.2 block and 2.5 are the same block (got a 2.5 turbo 89 voyager)

  • has to be the stronger 88-89 2.2 block cuz im sure the previous blocks couldnt handle this

  • Actually it's a 2.2...single turbo and an automatic Trans to boot. :D
