The assumption that she is 'hiding' behind make up is like saying she is hiding behind her clothes. Makeup might not be a mask for her, it might be a creative way for her to express herself. People do it in paint, sculpture, clothing, voice, and more. Why is it wrong to put color, line, and tonality on one's face for expressive purposes? Makeup is cool and so is Chely, just as she is, WITH her makeup.

First, I must say that I love her and she is a great inspiration to everyone, gay or straight. But that green-screen makes her look very skinny and fragile. And the white makes her make-up look wickedly dark. Haha. I thought the pre-view pic was a drag queen!
