Halo2 Easter Egg Tutorial

PLEASE READ!!!

This is a tutorial video for those of you who want to get the scarab gun and the giant soccerball in Halo 2.

Since I have been asked multiple times about the songs, they are How Bad Do You Want It by Time McGraw, and Thats Something To Be Proud Of by Montgomery Gentry. For those of you who dont like the songs, keep your comments to yourselves. I already posted the video, so I cant change them now. Its pretty much impossible to find a song that everyone is gonna like. If you dont like it, turn ur sound down.

UPDATE: It is not necessary to get the skull at the beginning. You will still be able to get both the gun and the ball without getting the skull, however, getting the skull makes everything else alot easier, because it increases your damage resistance. I didn't think people would mind me trying to make this easier for everyone, but with how many comments I've been getting about not needing the skull, I guess I was mistaken. Now STOP TELLING ME YOU DONT NEED THE SKULL!!!! AFTER GETTING 200 COMMENTS STATING THIS, I THINK I HAVE THE IDEA!!!!

UPDATE: You dont need the banshee to get the soccer ball. It is possible to get the ball without the banshee, but its gonna be alot harder than it has to be. Especially for people who dont know how to grenade jump very well. You will still need it to get the scarab gun though.

One more thing. You people dont have to keep telling me that you dont have to do this exactly how I did. There may be other ways, but I'm just trying to show people the easiest way. I dont get why that bothers some people so much. From now on, any comments saying that you dont have to do whatever will be deleted, and if put back on by the same person, that person will be blocked. I'm getting realy sick of that.

Couldn't you just snipe one of banshee pilots instead of making one go all the way through the tunnel with you? Or do you make him follow you so that the enemies don't shoot him down and ruin the whole thing?

@gumigecko No you cant. You can't fly the banshee through the tunnel. If you take it before going in the tunnel, you cant fly in. If you take it while in the tunnel, it will try to throw you back out the entrance. Depending on how far into the tunnel you are, it might throw you into a wall and kill you. You cant take it until shown in the video.

@ravenfan0885 Hey man, thanks for the super fast response! Now that I think about it I remember sniping a banshee at that part and trying to go into the tunnel and being shot back--what a ride!

Also, I read a comment on here that said you don't need the banshee to get the soccer ball--do you know what they are referring to?

@gumigecko I believe there's a way to launch yourself into the building using a grenade. I haven't tried it myself though.

@flood1997 yes get sputnik and take a box and rocket jump up there.... to bad you can't get down (fucking game producers) and its really REALLY hard to do D-:

you don't need banshee for the ball just get sputnik grenade jump there climb the metal beams go into the corner and ta da you have the soccer ball and yes its possible to get down jump on the ledge

Dude. This is uneccesary. You can simply jack a banshee near the bridge when it flies down low.
