23 year-old college graduate (English Literature and Creative Writing) from Connecticut with no parents to fall back on, is interviewed at his panhandling spot in L.A. by daily commuter woman in car. He says that many of the homeless are young adults like him because they don't qualify for SSI or food stamps and are the first being laid-off when companies have to thin out the staff. He realizes how deep is the problem and sees no light at the end of the tunnel.
bukowski would be this douche's favorite writer. where did he go to school? fuckwad state? lol

His degree(s) are basically useless. He would have been better off not going to college and keeping the money.

@kotapaka
That's like saying that a law student who transfers into a medical school cant hack it.
Maybe-maybe not.
Different discipline, different skill set.
The question is whether the student in the discipline is capable or not.
As for companies, that's true for various professions and firms. Schools are always short on teachers. It doesnt prove anything.
Correlation is not causation.

@kotapaka You comments really dont have anything to with the video.
If you comments are suggesting that this man's DNA predetermined he would be homeless, then that is a silly point.
Intelligence capacity may indeed be genetic but whether one gets a job or not or succeeds financially is determined by varied forces that have nothing to with genetics and everything to do with the outside world.

@kotapaka A college degree is a college degree.
1) You are referring to the differences between say, programs, faculty, curricula in Universities. That has nothing to do with the degree itself.
2) Geography is not part of the arts-I would expect more from someone claiming to have a so-called Engineering degree.
3) Medicine and Law are different from Science in terms of "stress"-those are graduate schools that are hard to get into and tough to get through.

@MultiSmartass1 From my life (which has been anything but usual) I've come to the conclusion that most of life is predetermined by your genes which themselves determine your character: temper, stress tolerance, workload tolerance, concentration, intelligence, memory and any talents.
There isn't a big book in God's drawer where you life is written - this "writing" is in your DNA. You could vary it a bit, but really only by a bit as your ability to do that is also governed by your genes.
