  • Best film of 2011 in my opinion , so good. and the soundtrack is mind blowing.

  • Easily one of the best and most under praised films of 2011. Definitely deserves some style awards!

  • It's beautifully shot, with a great soundtrack, but Ryan Gosling's blank performance reminded me far too much of Kurt Russell in the abysmal "Soldier". As this is quite possibly my most-hated film, it was very off-putting to find myself trying to remember if it was the same guy throughout the first part of the movie.

  • @bemaniac2 I normally like these type of films, i.e. i loved taxi driver. I guess i just didn't enjoy the underacting of gosling.

  • @jubzfree you weren't paying attention! thats what I thought @ first then I saw it again. The subtext between Gosling and the girl is RIDICULOUS! there is so much tension between those two characters and they only kiss once. This movie blew my fucking mind lol

  • @jubzfree hear, hear

  • But I love the soundtrack, and kill scenes.

  • I'm sorry but there was nothing special about drive. I don't understand all the rave reviews for this movie.

  • @skinwalkerxxx Nah, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas is a hipster favorite...Like Kermode, we love it. ;)

  • I liked the movie but it felt like the ultimate hipster action movie. if such a thing exist. Kermode is wrong Scorcese would have never made something like this. Hipster tend to complicate things just for the sake of it. Mean Street and Taxis Driver had a point, never felt phony. Drive felt sometime like kid trying to build a movie from his I-Pad.
