  • Roberto,i wonder if they played at the Osprey which was the N.J.Shore's biggest club in the 60's.

  • I don't know, but I would have been there :)

  • This was one of the more popular bands at the Jersey shore during the late 1960's which attracted a large following in a prelude to Bruce Springsteen. Members shown in the above photo from left to right are: Bill Wolf on bass guitar, Larry Lerner on Drums, Billy Chinnock on fuzz guitar and lead vocal, Jim Meltzer on harmony vocals and rhythm guitar, and Danny Federici (who later joined Springsteen) on keyboards.

  • Thank you very much for all the informations!

  • Bill Chinnock was a abadass rockier in his own rite ... unfortunately he commited suicide a couple of years back ...

  • The Hullabaloo Club was located at the corner of Kingsley Street and First Avenue in Asbury Park, it was around the block from the Stone Pony. The building was demolished many years ago and the property has remained a vacant lot to this day.

  • Frequncey,i'm from Jersey and Been to Asbury Park 100's of times. I've got to film the area which is under going major developement. Convention Hall is where all the big name acts played like the Doors and Black Sabbath. Do you know where the Hullabaloo club was located. Was it near E Street or the Stone Pony?

  • Not sure about the Osprey. They did play often at the Hullabaloo Club in Asbury Park.
