Lviv - Our Beautiful City (HD) - Home of ELEKS Software (www.eleks.com)

I recently visited Lviv, Ukraine to visit the company I work for - Eleks Software (www.eleks.com). It was hard to believe how hidden of a jewel Lviv was. Lviv is stunning, the food great and the people very friendly. The city celebrated its 750th birthday 2 years ago and it's clear why Lviv was selected to be a UNESCO (UN) World Heritage Site. It escaped being bombed, burned and destroyed by its many occupiers. I hope you enjoy this pictorial of Lviv.

@Pparker99 Feel invited:)Bigger cities u have to see are:Krakow,Lublin,Warsaw,Trici­ty(Gdańsk,Sopot,Gdynia),Poznan­,Wrocław:)Royal Castle track of Piasts (including castle Książ, Malbork,Wawel and many others)Also there are hundereds of small towns which are outstanding.Many cities are on UNESCO heritage list.As for nature:Masurian Lake district(Land of thousand lakes),Tatra and Pieniny mountains.Białowieża forest(Bizons)etc:)Long live Poland,Ukraine and USA:))Cheers:)

@Pparker99 Like i said I dont blame Ukrainians,never.U know but it hurts when u see that cultural capitol of ur country is owned by other country:)This city was heart of Poland for over 600 years:)culture,architecture etc.good to hear its getting very good there.I like Ukrainians:)Best wishes for you.Have u visited some Polish cities?

@MrThorn88 Just so that you know, I"m an American and have visited Lviv 3 times in the past 18 months. I'm not sure when the last time you visited, if at all, but the city is undergoing a transformation - especially with Euro 2012 cup coming around the corner. Each time I go there, big gains. They do cherish the past and the architecture. The Soviet period did not help, but slowly, UA is getting back on their feet, just the way Poland did. So please - don't blame UA for what Stalin did.

@Pparker99 yeaa in Poland we have many beauty cities.we have also cities founded by germans but they are little and ugly:)Gdańsk and Wrocław were founded by Poles,stolen by germans for some years but finally we regained it:)Lviv was for 600 years Polish/Architecture is typical Polish architecture.many connections to Karkow.Now its Ukrainian and ok but it was stolen from us by Stallin not by Ukrainians so ok:)Now its Ukrainian and will be forever but u should take care of it better than now.
