Amtrak's Vermonter, a daily service between Washington, DC and St. Albans, VT, heads north out of New Haven towards Springfield, all but 2 minutes late. Today, Genesis p40 #109 leads, while #21 brings up the rear. The the train has two engines on both sides due to a switchback in Palmer, MA. The two P40 units are brand new to the train, having replaced an AEM7 (which brought it from Washington). Here is #54's schedule:
