@Madamow I don't know if we got the "beachrock" version on the east coast. I never saw it anyway. We got the reggae version though. In fact there was a much longer reggae version than what is on YT. It was almost a full music video with a bizarre spoken introduction and a couple of verses in addition to the "Living Large" chorus. Much like music videos it also gave the name of the singer of the reggae version: John "Ras Kidus" Cornelius.

The Levi Big Jeans ad campaign’s target audience was the teeny boppers who entered junior high in the fall of 1991. I was definitely in their target audience. I love how the teenaged actors sauntered their way throughout the commercial.
