@teampenske17 the presure in the fusalage pushes the lach out and against the wall of the plane therefore making it harder to open the door. it doesnt really matter which side has more presure.

@chanjobe1 This sounds absolutely legit. Im confused because at altitude there is less pressure and inside the cabin is a higher pressure so wouldnt it actually force the door open faster, or is the 300kts of wind flowing over the fusalage what's keeping the door in place?

@8059875 The exit doors are sealed shut by the by the pressure differential between the cabin and the atmosphere. It is not possible for a human to open the door at altitude.
GA planes have no such mechanism. You can unlatch the door on my Cessna in-flight, but good luck forcing it open in 140mph winds.
