UFC 141: Lesnar vs. Overeem is an upcoming mixed martial arts event to be held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship on Friday December 30, 2011, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Due to a pay per view revenue decline in recent months, the UFC will return to a 10 p.m. ET start with this event.

The winner of the main event is expected to face Junior dos Santos in a bout for the UFC Heavyweight Championship.

UFC 141 will be the last event to feature preliminary fights live on Spike TV.

TJ Grant was originally scheduled to face Jacob Volkmann at this event but was forced to pull out due to an injury, and replaced by returning veteran Efrain Escudero.

Ramsey Nijem was scheduled to face Anthony Njokuani at the event but was forced to pull out due to an injury, and replaced by Danny Castillo.

@djwood69 Fitch got knocked out like anyone can. Does that mean he is still my #2? Probably not. But no one could have known that was going to happen 100%. And Diaz is probably #2 on my rankings now, so? Fitch lost, so he goes down on my rankings just like they did on everyone elses. I still wouldn't put him past 3 or 4 though. I don't see why you're angry but Fitch got knocked out and I was wrong. Oh well? He'll come back and fight top people again. It stinks he got knocked out but it happens.

sounds like u had a rough night.. i would have won 1250 if jon fitch did what he was supposed to.. unfortunatelly diaz, hettes, overeem, volkmann, and dhk made back what i lost on fitch.. i did good with the dream card too.. but it would have been nicer to have that 1250 profit.. thats the game we're in though..
