I totally hear what you are saying whitewolf, I read and watched the Secret. There is definitely some degree of truth to what you say, that you can't get what you want until you envision it, and also that what you resist persists, however, I think it is valuable to be aware of your enemy. Sometimes we do have to deal with negative things head on, in my humble opinion.

It's important that people know their enemy, but then realize that victory is less reliant on defeating the enemy, than empowering ourselves! Just my personal take. George Orwell's 1984 was a great book, that dealt with a lot of negative things, this is meant to be like that.
