Scala Record (Cat. No. 455b), C. 1914. Classic music hall, usually associated with female stars like: Daisy Dormer, Molly McCarthy, Ella Retford & Lillian Shelley. Morris Dixon is almost certainly a compay psued., those such as Scala (who re-issued other companies material, frequently used them. Detect a hint of Jack Charman, but, a viewer thinks it may be Harry Cove. Always confusing as both used many pseuds.

  • Very nice record,i'm pretty sure its Harry Cove.

  • @longpast78 you could well be right, think I've been tripped up like that before. There doesn't seem to be a lot of Harry Cove records about, at least not under his real name, or duetting with another artist.
