Homemade Indian food from Radha's kitchen. Coconut chutney is a quick and easy to make dish that accompanies South Indian delicacies like Idli, Dosa, Upma, and so on. It can also be eaten on white bread with butter. I am showing my family recipe with no onions and tamarind. I use frozen coconut or Powdered coconut that needs no refrigeration.
During pooja times, I use the real coconut and there is a difference when it comes to using fresh coconut. But my family never knows the difference. Please comment, rate, and subscribe to my channel.

  • Wow frozen grated coconut, does it lose taste? Can I freeze the blended paste, this way only thing I need to do is prepare the tadka fresh.

  • @PhantomAct: Frozen fresh coconut tastes great. You can use fresh coconut to make chutney and freeze it, and to this (after defrosting) you can add fresh tadka before serving. Do not refreeze coconut, it will change the taste and cause food poisioning.

  • How to make sambhar??

  • Hello Radha, after watching these delicious recipes from you, I'm wondering if you can show us how to make the all too famous "pappu" that is truly andhra style. I'm very interested in learning how to make pappu because that's my favorite. I Know there are different varieties in pappu like palak pappu, tomato pappu, etc. You can show us any one, tomato pappu preferable though :-). Thanks in advance. Keep up the good work.
