I was reading through the comments, lol, not sure the entire story...honestly Idc. I am a huge EA fan but we all got flaws. In all honesty I dont think of EA as a singer...when people ask who EA is I say she is a violinist. she is a violist first THEN a singer...Her voice IS NOTHING compared to Amy Lee or even, yes, I'll say it, Gaga...She is a wonderful performer and musician but her voice is so so. lol. Love her anyway though.

@Hollenvaen AMEN.

The lyrics are taken directly from a hymn called "Rock of Ages". If you want lyrics, look up the hymn's lyrics.

who the fuck is attrition

In late 2005, Autumn also recorded vocals and violin for "The Gates of Eternity" from Attrition's 2008 album All Mine Enemys Whispers: The Story of Mary Ann Cotton, a concept album focusing on the Victorian serial killer Mary Ann Cotton.[31][32] Autumn later protested the release of the song, claiming that it was unfinished, "altered without her permission," and had been intended only as a possible collaboration with Martin Bowes
That is from the wikipedia page.

@ultispy0 why? :(
Just researched about this controversy. APPARENTLY Attrition fans really hate EA fans...which I find hilarious. On a forum they wer bashing us for our ignorance and how ridiculous it is that we are "muffins". They just sat there and made fun of the fans for being upset about being on her side. They bashed every one who didn't know who Attrition was and had "no right" to say anything because of the fact. What? That makes no sense. The fact is, they released it without her permission. No argument.

@poisondesires Emilie joined Attrition. Attrition own the rights of the song, not Emilie. Attrition are wonderful people, and released it becasue Emilie IS a part of their history. THough I entirely appreciate her position, I think people need to stop looking at Emilie as if she's god and realise that Attrition aren't evil nasty people, but that they actually are a long standing project that Emilie WANTED to be in as she was a HUGE fan.
