On October 29, 2011 the 9th Taiwan Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Pride Parade and Festival took place in Taipei. 50,000 people attended the event, the biggest pride parade in Asia. The theme of this year's pride was "LGBT Fight Back! Out with Discrimination!" which called for the total end of public, private and political discrimination, against LGBT people in Taiwan.
五萬群眾一同嗆聲：「彩虹征戰，歧視滾蛋！」
邁入第九年的同志遊行「彩虹征戰，歧視滾蛋！」於10月29日週六舉行，特別規劃東、西兩條遊行路線，除了因應一年多過一年的參與群眾以外，也增加與台北市區居民的互動，
今年遊行的主視覺『彩虹獅子』。以獅子的形象象徵同志面對歧視絕不退縮，必要時將挺身征戰的意志，而六色的獅子鬃毛則呼應了同志運動彩虹旗的基本精神。
