Ahh yes! I have flown the chief pilot of IS&S many many times and have flown in there demo PC-12 once or twice. I really like the panel the zoom feature is real cool.

How do you like the I,S&S? We have a fleet of 3 -45's and a single 47. The owner of the -47 wants to upgrade to a flat panel. Would love to hear your pro's/con's. Thanks in advance!

iiideuces, thanks for the reply! Looks like I,S&S will be offering nexrad/uplink weather on the 10" displays this summer...no word on the 15" displays yet. Still trying to grease the wheels w/ the owner. I,S&S now has the PC-12 "Vantage" cockpit in the works, and that thing looks pretty damned sweet in the early stages! Take care...

@dylanhardman I just checked out the IS&S site regarding the XM weather you mentioned. That looks really cool. I wish we were upgrading ours to WAAS and XM weather.

IS&S. I like a lot of things about it but it does leave some to be desired. Readability in all light conditions is great. Resolution is great. Chart display is good. I don't like how it displays Departure and Arrival procedures. They are often landscape in orientation and this does not work well on the system. When you zoom in, it shows one strip of the proc and you can move back and forth. On all other charts you zoom and you can pan up down left and right. We do not have the WAAS yet.
