The OAC asked the major political parties a series of questions about their policies for Autism services, and has received responses to those requests. The OAC has evaluated the answers and has issued this report card regarding those responses.
The Ontario Autism Coalition formed in 2005 and has grown into an Ontario-wide organization with over 600 members. The OAC organized over 20 rallies to draw public attention to the need for publicly funded programs that effectively meet the needs of individuals in the Autism community. They have also met with countless government policy advisors, senior provincial Cabinet Ministers and M.P.P.'s to make their case.
