I spotted an error. At 1:46, Mr. Howard's first name is clearly spelled "Philip", yet at around 6:22 when his name appears underneath, it is written as "Phillip" with 2 Ls.

@carcabe Yeah not try telling that to the rest of the world... Basically people in my place already beg for a dictator to "come and rescue" them from all their problems and I wouldn't be surprised to hear it's the same in other places.

I guess we need something really big to convince people that more freedom is actually better.

@jddrafts You think wrong. Most people let remedyable injuries lapse, and don't sue because they think they don't have a case, or that it iwll cost them too much. Lawyers, like every other profession on Earth, need to advertise to get business. If somebody is going to rip off the system, an advertisement won't push them over the edge; they will do it no matter what.

@jddrafts favor of a government rule banning these commericals, all of this will require a complete change in society, both in how lawyers seek cases and in getting rid of people feeling like they are entitled to everything which is the problem with people bringing cases and I think part of the problem with juries deciding the way they do. After all if you only have to pay your lawyer a percentage if you win, why wouldn't you sue?

@0HippyHunter0 I think everyone should be taught morals and ethics in school starting in elementry school. That being said a plumber being unscrupulus does not have as far reaching consequences for society as a lawyer might, and part of the problem is all those commercials on tv from law firms encouraging people to sue for this and that some of those cases might be legitimate but I think if you have a real case you should not need the idea to sue put in your head and of course I would not be in

The legal system in this country creates a tyranny of lawyers on the offensive, operating with little to lose (because many will pay up to get the parasites to leave them alone). And who are these opportunists coming after? You. If your assets are worth it, of course.

These instructions are 2 fold. 1) the dumbing down of Americans, by suggesting that they would actually consider or hope to believe what they are warning about and 2) Liberals are actually in need of these warnings.
