when i overclock it, the game performs much slower, is it cuz of the temperature? when gaming its raising 80 degrees celsius

my is on 2.4Ghz ilde 35c with artic cooler under stress 45 lol

Will it work fine on ASUS P5DL2-SE and 350 W Source??? PLZ REPLY FAST OR I WILL HATE ALL YOUR VIDEOS :DDDDDDDDD

if u use your pc like this you will born your motherboard and cpu...
-
had the same kind of setup and the damn freezer pro fan stopped working, until then worked great though...

lol Lovez the resident evil extinction!

If you have 667mhz kingston memory and same processor, you can just increase FSB speed to 333 and leave the memory alone. you will still get improvements

I think ur default would be 266*10=2.66GHZ
You can oc as much as you want, up to 400*10=4GHZ if ur motherboard is p35 or good cooler.
But if you want to play safe, just overclock to 333*10=3.33GHZ its safest and can go with stock cooler.
RAM u can try OC but 800mhz ram is good enough, any higher you won't really see difference. MOre performance? Get btr videocard.

Ignore him thats not true.
You can use software like speedfan or setFSB both free to overclock in windows instead.
You do have your HS/Fan mounted funny. For best airflow you would want the fan blowing toward the back cause that huge PSU fan is going to fight that Freezer Pro. I used the Zalman 9700 and got this CPU up to 3.4Ghz for my friend. Definitely the most fun CPU I've ever tweaked. Good Job

Read what I wrote two posts below. Carefully.

I Did. I still would have put the Freezer Pro blowing toward the back of the case regardless of a dvd optical drive that gets warm cause the airflow would still be good. What I was trying to say is that the cpu fan and the PSU fan are fighting each other therefore they would ware out faster cause they are pulling in 2 different directions. I WASN'T mocking your whole setup. Like I said nice job.

But you see, I tried and I made hell a lot of tests. When I put Freezer in correct position and ran everything, my CPU temp went ~20C higher. Even now I can touch PSU (very cold) and then dvd drive and SB Audigy bay (both damn hot). So believe me, I tried first with the correct positioning but in my case it wasn't working good. Nevertheless you're right and if someone doesn't have such problem he should position the fan correctly.

You have your heatsink mounted incorrectly. It's sucking air from your hot shitty PSU, and displacing it into the middle of your case, and on top of your video card. On top of that, you don't have an exhaust fan to dissipate all of that heat. Pretty much fail all around.

Of course genius. Yes you are right, but not in my case. Why? I have an old dvd drive & sound blaster audigy 3,5" at front. I tried your placing but both audigy and dvd-rom are hot. And It does not work at all. My shitty PSU (damn you're funny) is COLD. I must say - VERY COLD, and with Acutake fan it's also silent. Shitty chieftec PSU... my god.
