I completely disagree. Yukari Nakano, Kostner, Meier are doing quite well. And even before the COP there were a fair number of "teen upstarts" in the sport who grew into their own person. Mao and Yu-Na are growing up to be beautiful, artistic ladies and are turning 18 this year. The American gals moving up to senior are young, but talented. It's only the American media and their silly "search for the big star" that has skating in the dumps. Asia and Europe is quite happy with skating right now.

Such a beautiful, brave and determined young lady. I wish her much luck in the upcoming season, and I hope to see her at the Olys! It'll be tough, but I'm not ready to count her out yet.

It seems her amateur career was over as fast as it began...

Whatever happened to Kimmie Meissner? I haven't seen her quite recently with Rachael Flatt and Mirai Nagasu taking the ice in full storm. How is she? Dang, I miss Kimmie!

I really hope so. She'll first have to compete at the US championships and come 1st or 2nd to earn a place on the olympic team. Best of luck Kimmie!
