Xpl-10 kill giraffe. Just after midday Xpl-10 and the sub-adults were located in the eastern part of the Floodplain. They hunted and killed a giraffe. During the following evening, after they had been feeding on the giraffe, Xpl-10 was darted, to replace her fading radio collar.

  • Obviously, this giraffe is a baby. Compare the size of the two. An adult giraffe would tower over a lion. All these YouTube videos of lions attacking giraffes, except for the one where 10 lions are needed to bring down 1 adult giraffe, show lions attacking baby giraffes. Use your common sense and compare the size LOL.

  • look at picture, baby is on ground, how is one they attack a baby when the one attacked have baby?

  • Trust me, it's a baby. Have you ever seen an adult giraffe? They are huge.

  • trust me, giraffe has a baby how can the adult giraffe have baby if it is baby?

  • Next time get a viedo camera.

  • it's a mother giraffe protecting her young look again!

  • @philip0460, it is a young. not baby.. if it's a baby only one lions would be needed.

  • thats an adult giraffe

  • I think you'll find its an adult. Look how little the lions are in comparison. Lions are masive themselves. so if the lions look small, that giraffe has to be an adult

  • @philip0460 I absolutely love you we are 2 of a kind:) in this case tho it is a mother with her young at her feet. Remember some females only reach 14 feet, however as we know they are not to be under estimated female giraffes more commonly kill lions defended their young, they have more reason to throw their weight around!

  • its protecting its baby. at 0.27 u can see the baby giraffe's face
