  • No, Tesla was NOT mad. He was just super advanced and therefore misunderstood.

  • I love Tesla to death, but I don't think the title "mad scientist" here was made in a derogatory way.

I think it's more like "brilliant quirky guy who invents amazing things and doesn't shake hands with anybody".

  • He was croation not serbian

  • WTF is up with this "mad" shit when people talk anout Tesla?? He wasn't mad at all; eccentric, YES, "mad", NO. Definition of mad:1. mentally disturbed; deranged; insane; demented. Tesla was none of those things. And no, he wasn't "mad" when he was talking about his "peace ray"/particle beam weapon.

  • Geniuses like Tesla are only useful to Capitalists like J.P. Morgan IF there is money to be made. Free electricity? NO, Morgan would rather sell it to them.

It's the same with the gas companies today. There are lots of cheap ways to power transportation. Those technologies are supressed. You think Exxon wants to go out of business? Even if their business is destroying the Earth?

  • Not one iota of explanation as to why Morgan refused funding to Tesla, just an implication that Tesla's idea was ridiculous. I think its more likely that Tesla's technology would have made power too accessible to the common person. Mr. Morgan had no use for that.

  • “Today's scientists have substituted mathematics for experiments, and they wander off through equation after equation, and eventually build a structure which has no relation to reality.”

  • I love these educational videos, thank you for adding this one!

  • he'z a hero....
