  • hey .. iwas just wondering ... can you get 2 oscillators to the same key ... kinda like layering the sound .....you know ... a saw tooth pad maybe .. beneath a screaming square lead ...

    thanks in advance ...

  • @CdPrni

never heard that this synth can do two osc's on one key.....

  • Dumb question coming up...how exactly do you know if ALL 6 voices are working? I have this keyboard and am going to sell it. Every voice works as far as I can tell. Are there certain keys to test?

  • @jasonalara

Hold down 6 keys, one at a time. The Juno-106 & HS-60 can only play 6 notes before it cancels one out to play the new note. If one note within 6 does not play, you'll know if a voice chip is out or needs replacing. There are other methods used by techs to test it, but this is the easy way to find out. Google JUNO-106 self-test to find out how they do it. Send it to SYNTHSPA (on EBAY) for a full make over & chip restoration if one voice is out! Hope that helps! :)

  • it's very clean

  • @CdPrni The old Junos had just one oscillator which could deliver two waveforms at the same time - a saw and a pulsewave- plus a suboscillator with a square wave. Layering the sound is not really an option at least not in the way you suggest it, since there is just one oscillator and one shared envelope generator for Filter and VCA.

  • That sounds and looks awesome!

  • Mine's been in the shop for four months now. This cool video has made me all the more excited to get it back.

  • Blue LEDs are a bit overdone these days in general, but I think I really like this look. Good job.

  • i have one too, and i also have the blue leds, they are nice but too damn bright.

  • ebay has a mod kit for the juno 60s and 6s for the blue led mods.
