(HD) Modern Warfare 2: How to Save Profile and Stats

Short tutorial on how to save your Modern Warfare 2 Single Player and Spec-Ops profile. This comes in handy if you upgrade to a new Operating System, like I did.

Backing up your profile is easy! Simply go to this directory: C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\call of duty modern warfare 2, and copy the "players" folder. This folder contains all your Single Player and Spec-Ops information! Don't restart MW2 all over again!

hey on my computer my level reset to 1, but on my laptop it is still the level i was, if i copy the players folder from my laptop to computer will i have the rank and stuff that i have on my laptop?

@Grillzor I want to re-install MW2 because the program cant find this and that. Will I still have my multiplayer lvl, titles and trophies etc??? Plz help

@metaxisthedrummer Check the Program Files (x86), or where ever you installed MW2.
