Clash - Live at the Apollo 1978 - part 2/2
I'm so bored with USA, Janie Jones and White Riot
audio from last 2 songs replaced with an excellent soundboard recording, the missing bit in Janie Jones recreated from other parts of "Rude Boy"

part 1 is here : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9b6P6GMJmBQ

  • he's yelling at the cameraman to get off stage and it was edited for the stupid plot of Rude Boy movie to looki lke he's yelling at the roadie, who was the.... ah it's tupid movie with great footage of The Clash

  • @revol148 I know you know realize he was yelling at the cameraman, but I just find it interesting that a couple minutes later you can hear Mick (and Joe) shouting at the bouncers to "Let them go! They're fucking dancing! Let them go! Leave them alone!" -- "them" being the fans in the audience. That alone should've made you realize that they're definitely not against the "little people" and they really are down-to-earth, men-of-the-people.

  • I was there, Dave Black and me on lights...

  • The bouncers at the Apollo were total and utter cunts.

  • They used to open with this song in America. Legends.

  • I couldn't help but laugh when the producers of the movie edited it so it looked like Mick said get off the fucking stage to the kid, but at the real show he was yelling at the guy with the camera. That's why he looked into the lens of the camera.

  • @calboy64 we were talking about the Clash not David Bowie you fool! - who cares what David Bowie thought of the clash anyway!?

  • @revol148 even david bowie loved the clash,,asshole

  • @Ldale11 really? do most people have opnions? even people with very little to say for themselves, who butt into other peoples conversations, who make dull inaccurate comments about David Bowie's declining career and who finish off making strange comments about beards and plaid shirts? Well that appears to be the case - sad such people (such as yourself) live such dull aimless lives find themselves in this website!
