P.S i didnt cut the hood for the Deltec to sit out though... Works fine without havnt to cut the roof.

Hey man good stuff. Ive just done the same to my tank... The deltec is soo much quieter, keeps temp done by a degree or two and no need to undo air hose piping to remove collection cup.
Oh, and it pulls more waste from your tank that stock skimmer.

Thanks for the video. I am not sure that I would compare a RSM 250 skimmer to an AMG Merc and a Deltec to a Toyota. The RSM 250 skimmer is a nightmare and in my opinion the weak spot in the system. There are plenty go good points and I will buy RSM again for sure but I would certainly consider replacing the skimmer

Im going for the deltec also. The main reason is that it is not so reliable on precise water level, compared to Tunze. I have a friend who runs his tank with the 500 as well and it brings up black tar compared to other skimmers that bring up thin tea. Nice post :-) Thanks.
