It's already hot at 11 a.m. as we pull our 2009 Nissan GT-R into the visitor's parking lot at GM's proving grounds in Arizona. The Japanese supercar looks like a spaceship next to the aging, 1960s-era brick buildings that front the massive desert test facility on the outskirts of Phoenix....

@1976dslman RPM top gear meaning 85 mph? hahahahahha!! I promise you wont trap 150 in 1/4 mile which is what you will need to beat a "Sports Bike" (which is the proper term.) in a drag race. Your not going to get a 10.01 less than 145mph. period. Your bike wont do that.. cbr 1000rr has 160hp at the rear wheel.. You said you leave them in the dust.. These two need a serious rematch, the ZR1 and GTR have some serious new upgrades which will produce completely different results from this video made in 2008.
