It's already hot at 11 a.m. as we pull our 2009 Nissan GT-R into the visitor's parking lot at GM's proving grounds in Arizona. The Japanese supercar looks like a spaceship next to the aging, 1960s-era brick buildings that front the massive desert test facility on the outskirts of Phoenix....

Actually the ZR1 beat the GTR by 4 seconds at Laguna... not so slim!
The 2010 GTR has the Spec V tires and rims. The ZR1 has only up till now, been tested with the runflats, and now they tested with the same Michelins that the GT2 uses and got 4 seconds faster than the Runflats. Plus the ZR1 has PTM now!
Yes the GTR has AWD, but who gives a shit about a super car in the snow. Unless you change to snow tires, its useless!
Sorry pal the truth hurts... a 570HKS GTR( which have when dynoed show (550-570WHP) or 650BHP vs a Stock ZR1 and the GTR cant keep up! sorry about your loss LOL!
@BeyondTheBox100 How is the GTR's fat ass the Vette's problem? Do you think all the electronics in the GTR weigh nothing?
Seriously, it's sad that you're trying to say that the Vette doesn't deserve to win a braking test because the GTR is so heavy. It's comparable to me saying that Usain Bolt doesn't deserve to win a sprinting contest because you are too fat to be fast.
Total nonsense.
Furthermore, when's the last time you saw third party reviewers test high-end sports cars in snow?
whats so impressive about any car that goes fast with 2 turbos on it, a stock Z-06 is much faster than a GTR, even out the hole witha good driver, with better tires and suspension on the track for less money and more reliable,
