  • ~*~*NEVER VOTE FOR A REPUBLICAN AGAIN! The PAUL RYAN BUDGET PLAN will DESTROY MEDICARE for those of us 54 years or younger. IMAGINE being an old man and having to do BATTLE with a PRIVATE insurance company because the VOUCHER you got will not be enough to get the coverage you need or your illness has no coverage! REPUBLICON$ SLIPPED+ THIS INTO THE BUDGET WITH NO DEBATE or discussion! TELL YOUR STATE REPUBLICON$ THAT YOU WILL NEVER VOTE REPUBLICON AGAIN!

  • The one good thing about Ryan's budget proposal is that it will put a lot of right wingers out of thier jobs and homes. They'll have to move in with the kids who won't have jobs either. Many will die from lack of proper affardable health care. I'm all for that

  • 2.8% unemployment rate is only possible these days in a communist government with infinite resources.

Because communism only works when you have infinite resources, and we sure as hell don't.

  • @electricguitarplayr

"The Bush administration created about three million jobs (net) over its eight years, a fraction of the 23 million jobs created under President Bill Clinton"

And for the Federal Govt the Revenue goes up about 95% of the years because of increases in population & # of businesses, It seldom goes down.

So it's an old trick by the super-rich to say -- look , taxes were cut & revenue increased -- YES, BUT NOT AS MUCH AS IF THEY WERE INCREASED!

  • @DillonDee1 Between 2003 when the tax cuts were past and late 2007 the economy grew and jobs were 7 Million new jobs in 2003 - 2007. And revenue did go up.

  • @electricguitarplayr --

Bush & Cheney yelled -- tax cuts creat jobs and increase revenue

(1 million jobs created under Bush compared to 22 million jobs under Clinton - when taxes were higher)

    And DOW so dismal I got 1 of the - My 401 now looks like a 201 -- T-shits.

Been there, done that , no longer buying into the trickle down bullshit.

  • @707dirk Clinton did reduce the capital gains tax in 1997.

  • @DillonDee1 Tax cuts creat jobs and increase revenue.

  • @poindexterwitkowsky Thats not true. The insurance plans are designed specifically for seniors. Only a few changes really need to be made. If you go to politifact a fact checking site youll see that what democrats and left wing tv hosts are telling you is lies. WIthout this plan there wont be a medicare for you when you retire. This plan saves medicare.

  • Totally WRONG. Your statement needs to reference INCOME tax, not FEDERAL tax. All employees pay payroll tax of 7.65 (15.3 total with employer portion). When you look at the total % paid in tax by income group, those with the highest incomes pay a lower % than those with moderate incomes. You are also flat wrong that higher tax rates lead to less tax revenues. Look at the Clinton years when taxes were raised and revenue went up. The Bush tax cuts failed to create jobs.
