I've never duracoated anything but I have sprayed cars since I was a kid. And one bit of advice I would give to anyone going to spray anything for the first time is DON'T try and get full coverage in one coat. I've seen to many people (me being one of 'em) wreck a project by trying to get full coverage in one coat and results in runs and hours of extra sanding. Mist coat the first coat, wait until tounch dry and spray the second coat slightly thicker, third coat maybe needed. Just take it slow.
