Super Moon and Flashing Orb - March 19 - 2011

The Super Moon, March 19, 2011. It really was an extra beautiful and slightly larger full moon. The super moon was even more lovely here in the Netherlands, for we actually had clear skies!

I saw some sort of, well, UFO. It was an irregularly flashing orb or object that even in these clear, star lit night skies, just disappeared! Well, watch for your self, with the back-drop of the super moon.

Pretty awesome. I filmed the super moon with my LEGRIA FS20 from Canon with 2000x digital zoom and full HD quality. Hope you get to enjoy the Super Moon tonight too!

that could be a car light

Hi @Alliemar4 I doubt it. Up there in the sky like that? There was no cloud cover what so ever, so that was not a car light.

I'm in Oswego n.y and also seen a bright light while watchen the moon that night. It moved very fast and far with 10 minutes and then just stopped and stayed in one position for the rest of the night. Thought maybe it was a satellite being repositioned maybe to observe the moon. But at the distance that it moved it had to be moving really fast.

Yeah I saw the super moon also and it was AWESOME! But of course, every awesome scientific video MUST come with some sort of UFO spotting/conspiracy. It could have been real or fake. (UFO) At first, it seems normal, but when the "UFO" spazzed, i lost interest...

Ik heb precies hetzelfde knipperende object gezien hier in noord-west Friesland.

Ik was net als jij de supermaan aan het bekijken toen het object geluidloos en over me heen vloog en uiteindelijk in het niets verdween!

Ik heb het kort kunnen filmen, zal het filmpje even uploaden.
