The more in tune and in alignment you are with your inner being, the more the universe (and the film enviroment) works in your favor. ...

thats what he is getting at. He isnt changing the subject but instead saying that your attitude about your desires effects the immediate enviroment you come in contact with.

its a constructive thing for artists to get critic, its why they learn from masters, its why they hang out with each other - or choose not to do so. what seperates the real work from rubbish is when the creative vibe is not stopped.

there is also positive pressure like "have you maybe disregarded traditional drawing to improve your digital art ?" . such a simple question is pressure at some point and can trigger so much good. its like stress is. sometimes it can make you wake up..
