  • I will always say this, Trent Reznor will become the greatest innovator of the greatest Genre by putting Techno and Metal together. Reznor is truly a legend and will be a god when he dies. More than most artists.

  • Is there any song, remix, performance...anything from Trent Reznor that isn't awesome?

    Hell no.

  • haha you notice at 2:22 they clipped in another part to fill in? haha he quickly changes his shirt to sleeveless, then back to red hahaha! Great none-to-less

  • Might not even be divine inspiration from it. Could be just a lot of experience dealing withthe shit from the Jewish religious establishment (I mean Jews dealing with their own institutions... not meaning I hate Jews) and the Roman republic/empire. Same phenomenon must have been occuring they had to encode to warn people about in the future. Or, if you swing that way, maybe it's god and angels inspiring people. Don't know. People could be pretty dumb back then. Diff to believe they got it.

  • sorry, meant fucked up, not fuckd us... though it kind of did, didn't it

  • Non-entity. Nice title. Mindless, wild beast-like non-sentient systems. Abstractions. Collections of people in bondage to them. Stone had that great moment in Nixon where the protestor confronts him and he has this revelation. Hinted at with the minion-of-Satan eyes the DCI has for a moment over at the CIA earlier. Unintentional evil emergent from complex, unconscious systems. The first killer robots. As fucked us as the bible is, someone knew something back then about the nature of it.

  • this song had me enthralled for days after I heard it on the BYIT dvd...it's super unique to anything I'd heard from NIN as of then

  • Why is this not on my version of Beside you in Time? Is this some sort of bonus track or easter egg or something?

  • How have I not heard this before?!

  • @blinky7046 He pisses excellence every morning and eats perfection. His farts are musical notes. Hes just that damn good.

  • @crimmy0204 Some can. Yes, he is indeed a really talented musician and overall a very intelligent, articulate man who uses music skillfully as a vehicle for his craft. I think the area he really REALLY excels in is sound engineering and design. He is a pretty good songwriter (in no ways genius songwriter). But where he really shines is how he utilizes the studio itself as an instrument. A real artist most def.

  • @crimmy0204 I agree, in the sense that a lot of people prefer to be shallow and devoid of showing any depth and complexity, hence the popular music you hear on the radio today. It's a shame, but at the same time, I agree with another commenter that I once read who said, "Don't be mad that the world has music for the mindless, be glad that it keeps them away from our music." In reality, I couldn't agree more. Without music for the mindless, NIN might not sound so unique. Just food for thought.
